Project Financial Analyst

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Managers obtaining updated status of the planning, execution and implementation of projects.
  • Confirm the accomplishment of project objectives taking into account the constraints of the project management triangle including time, scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Managers and CRM Administrator obtaining updated status of the planning, and future opportunities that may affect ongoing projects.
  • Complete daily tasks such as managing vendors performance, following interactions among project plans and calendars, completing overall reports, and participating in team and stakeholder meetings.
  • Keep management informed and scale the information required.
  • Maintain the progress and interaction between the Sales Team, the Projects Team and the Finance Team (Corporate) to reduce the risk of failure and encourage open communication.
  • Participate in the weekly Project Managers meeting and follow up action plan and conclusions to report Finance on project status, fulfillment, revenue recognition, billed and unbilled revenue and invoicing.
  • Create and maintain updated registration and documentation of projects in the ERP (NetSuite) as requested by the Finance Team.

Skills: 

  • Ability to develop and maintain detailed schedules, ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Strong cost reporting skills and techniques.
  • Experience in the identification, monitoring and reporting of project risks
  • Attention to detail: must stay on top of details such as project life cycle process, task status, budget actuals, important dates and scheduling, manage details to ensure a successful project.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills: communication planning and execution for the immediate project team, external client resources and third party vendors.
  • Creative problem solving: project performance measurement using appropriate tools and techniques, ability to identify problems or gaps in success and independently drive creative solutions, gaining buy-in from stakeholders and project team.
  • Organization: the ability to manage multiple project plans, budgets and schedules while maintaining accuracy and handling fine details to ensure completion within time, scope, and budget.
  • Client service focused attitude: ability to focus on client priorities first, helping to drive project goals and milestones above all else.
  • Strong work ethic: work hard and go the extra mile to achieve project success and client satisfaction.

Experience and Additional matters:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valuable Business Administration
  • Valuable programs on Project management.
  • Essential English (+B2).
  • 3 years experience in multinational company and multinational environment as International Project Controller or Analyst.
  • Mix Profile Projects/Finance to be liaison btw Projects and Finance. Not necessary expert on both but open minded and capabilities to understand both worlds.
  • User medium experience with ERP´s.
  • Experience working with project management plans (PMP).
  • Experience working with huge Databases and Data tools (extraction, treatment and reports).
  • Thorough practical understanding of accounting principles.
